How to Transcend The Mind
"The source of all problems is the mind.
Thoughts arise in consciousness, you identify with your thoughts
and that defines your experience.
So many thoughts arise without you even knowing it.
So many worries and troubles constantly arising and repeating
and although you are not conscious of them,
you are identified with them.
You are identified with the stress of it, the conflict of it
and so that is your experience.
Say you have to get your toilet fixed.
You know you have to get your toilet fixed.
But the thought repeats itself as a conflict until you resolve it.
It sits on your shoulders like a hundred pound weight
telling you life is not the way it is supposed to be until the toilet is fixed
and then it goes away.
And then the plumber says "I can't come until next Wednesday"
and that hurts because you know you will have to carry around that thought,
that conflict of "I have to get the toilet fixed" for another week.
And there are thousands of them arising so fast!
Toilet fixed, dentist appointment, late on rent,
your high school sweetheart dumped you for the school bully.
You wake up in the morning from a state of deep peace
and freedom from all identity and boom
the mind looks for something to identify with
and there's the broken toilet, the rent bill
the high school sweetheart and the bully
and a thousand others within seconds.
And that's who you think you are,
that is how you perceive life.
Sure you get the good thoughts too
but then that creates conflict and stress.
You want one thought over the other;
one experience over the other.
And so the remedy is not to try
and have one thought over the other,
but to stop the identification with thinking all together.
Whether through witnessing the thoughts
or placing your attention on what is here beyond thinking,
you practice meditation to break that addiction to identifying with thoughts
and rest as your natural state of consciousness.
To stop allowing thoughts to dictate your experience
and instead allow thinking to be as it is but
turn your attention to what is truly here beyond the thinking.
To realize your natural state.
Because your natural state is love, is peace, is bliss.
Not some emotional experience on the surface
but every cell of existence vibrating as bliss.
And if you can taste that once, then you can do it twice.
Then you can rest in your natural
state of consciousness for longer periods of time
before being pulled back into thinking.
And eventually in meditation, the duality
between thoughts and peace ceases to exist.
You begin to experience thoughts as energy.
You experience the very nature of thought itself.
Which is unconditional bliss.
It's like you stop being involved with the lyrics to the song
and just enjoy the music.
The bliss of the music.
The toilet still needs to be fixed
but you're no longer wearing it as a hat.
It no longer defines you.
You exist completely free of it
as consciousness; as unconditional peace.

Experience The Bliss for Yourself:
Receiving Shakti, is the easiest way to transcend the mind. Shakti is the energy of bliss and when you receive it, you automatically are drawn away from your thinking mind into the bliss itself. And this bliss awakens you into Enlightenment.
In the past, you can only receive Shakti from an enlightened Guru. But because of breakthroughs in sound recording, you can now receive Shakti through sound.
The CDs Pure & Infinite Sky transmit Shakti. So simply by listening to the meditation music on these CDs, you are awakened into deep states of meditation, and bliss and in that bliss you transcend the mind.
"If you look inwardly, you will see that there is the constant habit of identifying with thinking.
A thought arises and you believe you are the thinker of that thought.
Even more so, the thinking defines who you are and what life is.
Meditation is about directly experiencing life beyond this mental perception.
So first you come to realize that you do exist beyond your thinking. That there is this subtle
yet vast awareness that you are and that is completely free from the mental perception.
And that you can witness thinking from the standpoint of vast, unlimited awareness.
After realizing this, the habit of identifying with thinking still needs to be broken.
Because it is this addiction that keeps pulling you back into suffering.
And this is a large part of spiritual practice.
Through whatever technique, you break out of identifying with thinking
and remain in the natural state which is prior to thinking for longer and longer periods.
So it is not enough to simply understand 'you are that.' The habit of identifying with thinking must be broken.
It may seem like an impossibility. But simply by giving your complete attention to this, the light shines through.
Every time your bring your attention to that which is always here beyond the mind, there is more clarity and the bliss deepens dramatically.
